Engine Mechanical problem

about 4 days ago my car died on me while driving, and i thought it was just vapor locking but now it wont even start. it sounds like it has no gas but it has a full tank. i just put a new fule filter on and it turned over but died again. could you please help .
the repair guide dont say nothing but to replace all fule comp.
