Engine Performance problem
2005 Chevy Colorado Four Wheel Drive Automatic 57500 miles
I am idling low. I have gotten my computer scanned because the check engine light is on. I get this code (P0506) The receipt I got from Auto Zone when I scanned it says as follows. 1. Vacuum leak on engine 2. Dirty throttle body 3. IAC motor defective 4. Poor electrical connection to the IAC valve. I took it to the local chevy dealer and they said that they were going to work on my truck and clean something. I am guessing the dirty throttle body. How can i go about doing this my self and make sure that it is not something else. I dont have a lot of money to throw into this right now but need it fixed and I am capable of doing what ever it may be to fix it.
