Transmission problem
2004 Chevy Colorado Four Wheel Drive Manual 45000 miles

Yes, before I begin, thanks, I'm replacing the clutch on my brother in-law's 2004 chevy colorado it has the 3.5L engine. First, we had a heck of a time finding the Clutch Kit, but since it had to be dealer ordered, there is no alignment tool coming with the parts. What is the best thing to do in this situation? I can use the lathe at my work to make on, but I cannot find the measurements online anywhere, because I like to have it ready for when the parts arrive I can put it all back together. Thanks for your time
