2008 Chevy Cobalt control arm bushings

I was told that after I have the lower control arm bushings replaced that its not necessary to have an alignment done. Is that correct. I also just had new tires put on about a month and a half ago and they did an alignment then.

I would question the need to change the CA bushings on an '08.

But I would get the camber checked.
