I have a 2006 chevy cobalt, 86000 miles on it. About a month ago it started making this rattling noise behind my steering wheel while i drive, and its pretty loud. the chevy dealership replaced something on it from a steering recall but it STILL didnt fix it.. i also tried new tires and still no luck.. any idea what it is?

hard to know without hearing it but try the control arm bushings. That is quite common. Is it a metallic knocking noise?
