My cobalt has been giving me nothing but problems! I have had the coil pack replaced, new bushings, all within the last month. Now for no apparent reason my warning lights come on, fuel gage goes down to empty, power steering message, brake light, traction control light all come on. I pull over shut the car off then restart and it seems to "clear" the problem at least for a day. What could be causing this? I have searched the net and have asked people, but no one seems to know. Please Help!

It could be a few things. First, make sure the body grounds are clean and tight. Also, make sure the plugs under the dash are tight. IF they appear ok, you should have the body control module (BCM) tested. It has control over most of what you described. Also, have you had the computer scanned to see if there are any trouble codes stored in the system? Most parts stores will do it for free, so it may not be a bad idea to have it scanned.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Joe
