2005 Chevy Cobalt Map sesor and fan

When my heat and a/c is on fan runs when cool is on in car fan isn't turning on . Replaced themostat and new coolant. Had car checked map sensor was problem. Does this turn fan on. When car is sitting idol and is on cool in car coolant goes up when on heat it stays ok . Whats the problem? Thanks.

Sounds like the cooling fans are not working.

Either the fan switch, or fan motor.

MAP sensor is used to adjust air/fuel mixture and timing.
