Engine Performance problem
1996 Chevy Cheyenne V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 208k miles

My truck starts hard when the engine is cold, but once started or when the engine warms up, it starts without a problem. Driving down the road, it runs as smooth as ever hot or cold. What could be the problem?

The first thing you need to do is get a fuel pressure gauge and test the fuel pressure in the morning before starting it. It depends which specific engine you have but the pressure requirements are high on all of them.
