Engine has 40k. Trans 20K.
While driving a noise occurred like something hit the bottom of the truck in front of the driver. Loud.
Vehicle lost power. Coasted to the side of road. No restart. Engine is receiving fuel but no spark.
Is it possible for a coil to emit an audible noise upon failure?

hi yes it is possible for a coil fail and you hear it,, but not normal.check the coil for 12 volts. check the fuses.possible ignition module
