Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1988 Chevy Cheyenne V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

while driving, differential made a loud bang. drive line spins free at the yoke. axles were pulled about two weeks ago. is it possible axle clips were put in wrong?
Haven't looked inside yet to know what the damage is.

something has let go, no use wondering, time to pull it down and inspect for what damage has been done.
