1970 Chevelle 3-spd on the floor, I don't run this car but I get it out twice a year. My problem is when I put it in gear (any gear) it won't go, it won't do anything. I checked the linkage underneath, all seems okay. I went through the gears with the car off and it all seems to work fine in that aspect. Is this a clutch plate problem or something?

Sounds like a clutch assembly to find out you need to open it up and investigate
