Hi im trying to find out about my moms car she has a broken hip and cant do much so i have to fix it for her
the problem is when you first start it it starts right up but as soon as you put it in gear it either dies or bogs down and you have to keep pushing the gas pedal real fast for it to start going but after a little while it seems ok i changed the fuel filter map sensor
and fuel line can you please help me?

scan the codes first to see if you have any. All you need is a paper clip an dgo between a&b. turn the key on and let the service einge light flash it will flas amaybe once then twice. YOu couldnt the flashes for codes 12 45, etc. then write them down and come back on the site her and look under troulble codes You will need to go under OBD ! then see if you have any problems although you may get codes as you disconnected parts. If you do pull th eecm fuse for 10 seconds. reinstall and drive the car to get more codes. Also you could have a catalytic converter bad, put a vacuum guage on th eintake and take areading. If it's 15" at idle then disconnect the converter and start the car and see what you have. it should be around 20"
