1988 Chevy Celebrity Rear Strut mount

There is only one torque strut and it's on the front upper part of the engine, the rest are engine mounts, and transaxle mounts.

OK, that's a good start. Well, the mount that I replaced looks like a dog bone, that can be clearly seen in front of you under the hood, and is attached from the radiator to the engine, like the therd photo in your diagram shows. I was told that if I don't fix the one on bottom, it could mess the motor up. is that true? or is what I fixed good enough? And what was the best way to find those diagrams you posted? I have a chilton book for the car, but unclear about finding this solution in it.

Any mounts under the car are motor or tranny mounts, and what you do is get a floor jack, put a small amount of pressure on the bottom of the engine, use some wood so you don't damage the oil pan, or rent the engine lifting tool that goes across the top of the engine, then check for split mounts...no dogbones under the engine! OK, that helps. I realy would like to thank you for directing me through this process. I wasen't sure what to look for, but now I have a better idea. I'm greatfull to know that I can turn to here for any repair questions. I'll keep checking to see if any of my questions have been answerd, otherwise, if not I'll ask one.
