Brakes problem
1988 Chevy Celebrity 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
Right rear wheel was grabbing on occasion. Thinking
poportionate valve, which is in the master cylinder, I replaced the master cylinder. Now I am unable to get the brake peddle to have pressure.

I did bench bleed the cylinder and each wheel but did not get a lot of pressure from the bleeders.

You either have air in the system or a bad master cylinder.

I would re-bleed each wheel starting at the furthest one from the MC and working to closest.

If still no pedal then get a new MC under warranty. Make sure the MC rod to the brake pedal is installed properly. The loop usually faces up and if installed improperly can ruin the MC.
