one of the main wires to the fan motor are exposed. 2 of the I guess ground wires are broke. Can I splice and repair that way or do I need a new wireing system and if I need a new wiring system how do I do that

You can splice the wires as long as you have enough room to cut and strip the wires to put a connector in.

Then wrap with electrical tape, check operation of fan, if OK, then wrap entire length of wire in a hi-temp silicone tape that will resist high temps and route away from heat sources like exhaust manifold.

You may have to go deeper into harness that wires come from if wires are too short from where thay exit from main harness.

Best repair is to cut then solder wires together, then cover with shrink tubing (put it on the wire before you solder).
