Not too hard on this car. Remove the serpentine belt by fitting a 3/8 inch drive flex handle into the square hole on the tensioner and pulling against the spring to slacken the belt.
Remove the negative terminal from the battery -- very important.
Remove the battery wire from the post on the back of the alternator. Remove the alternator. Usually it's held on by a couple of bolts. Unplug the remaining wires. Installation is the reverse.
