Loud squeaking noise from underneath my car

Occassionaly I get this loud squeaking noise coming from underneath my 1996 2.2 litre Chevy Cavalier. I currently have 168,000 miles on it. I have not yet had this issue looked into due to it doesn't occur very often. But when it does happen it sounds bad. I don't notice any difference in the performance of the car at that time. What could this be?

Without hearing it and being there it's tough to say. The sway bar bushing brackets on some of them were oversized and caused some noise. Possibly shimming them may help. Replacement ones with new bushings would be best though. This is not a saftey issue if this is the source.
