I have a 2001 chevy cavalier with about 104,000 miles. It makes a grinding noise when driving. I already had the breaks done and the left side hub bearing done and no one seems to know what it is as of yet, but I am waisting money on things that didn't need to be fixed in the first place. Any ideas what it could be

Where does the sound seem to be coming from? Possibly a bad wheel bearing.

It sounds like from behind the steering wheel. The driver side wheel bearing was replaced not the passenger. When you are driving whether it is 15mph and up you hear the sound. When you turn to the wheel to the left you hear it even more, but when you turn it slightly to the right it goes away but if you are turn the corner at 20mph to the right you hear it slightly.

Since you hear it when you turn the wheel, have you ever checked the tires? I had a similar problem with a crx, and it ended up behing that the tire was rubbing against the dented fender. Check inner tred of the tires it just might be that the tires are rubbing against the inside of the fender.
