Distributor

1991 Cavalier 3.1 V6
Runs Great bur oil leak leads to Distributor Cover,
Removed all around the Cover and Clamp to hod the cap down. All is Great except the Cap refuses to come off so I can put a new Seal on.

Why won't this cap unscrew or slide out?

There is no Distributor in this model but the old hole has a cover over it.

did you get the one off the back of the distributor cap. there is two on it. if that dont work put a screwdriver under it and lightly twist it till it comes off.
