changing the ignition key switch

i have an 1989 cavalier i need to change the key and tumbler part of the switch does anybody know how to change it

yes sir. first insert the key and turn it to the on position, then get a straigtened paper clip and you should find a little hole, insert the clip in and push while pulling out the ignition tumbler. the ignitioin switch is right under it and is held in place with a bezel, unclip and remove.
