2008 Chevy Cavalier no dash lights

i have seen when i was sitting in my drive way the dash lights worked then i shut the car off then came to it later at night and the headlights worked but no dash lights i checked the dimmer and the fuseis the fuses keep blowing to not all the time thow but some times the dash lights come on then they work for a day or 2 then they dont ???.
