2004 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Automatic

THE RPM GAGE ON MY CAR DOESN'T MOVE. THE OTHER DAY IT WAS ON 6 AND 7(IN THE RED) NOW IT DOESN'T MOVE AT ALL. AND I DON'T THINK THE GEAR IS SHIFTING..WHAT DO I DO?

You need to hook up a scan tool and see if the pcm is is showing an engine speed parameter. IF not the gauge is bad.
