I need to replace the front wheel bearings in my 2004 Cavalier. I have purchased replacement hub/bearing assemblies. Is it necessary to remove stabilizer bar, drive axle, etc. to remove old hub/bearing or is it possible to remove old hub/bearing via center nut on spindle and remove 3 torx bolts?

Hello,

To remove the wheel bearing, you will have to first take off the center nut then those 3 bolts that mounts the bearing to the hub. So yes, exactly the way are planning to do it.

Here is a helpful guide:

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
