Greetings. We have a Chevy Cavalier on which the front driver side turn signal is out. A few years ago we hooked up a U-Haul trailer to a trailer hitch on the Cavalier and connected the trailer to the lights and then after that it seems like the turn signal has been out. The light bulb has been replaced and that seemed to do the trick for a day or so and then it goes out. We believe it could be a short but if I'm not mistaken I thought we replaced a fuse. We'd like to know what the estimated cost for fixing such a problem would be based on worst-case scenario.

Thanks!
Vince

Hi Vince,

Thank you for the donation.

If it is only the front turn signal that is not working, then it should not be a difficult job.

Check the bulb installation. Sometime bulbs would not have good contact due to contaminations/rust.

Other things to check would be broken wires and if you are a DIY person, this should not be difficult.

Electrical repairs are difficult to quote any estimate. If it is a simple job, maybe it can be resolved in a few minutes but if it is a wiring fault, it can take up to days to get it rectified.
