2003 Chevy Cavalier Speedometor Problem

My speedometor is out about 20 miles per hour. When the car is stopped the speedometor reads 20 mph. So when I am crusing the speed is off by 20 mph. Does this have an easy fix?

easy maybe but not necessarily cheap. i would suspect faulty vehicle speed sensor. are you having problems with transmission ? if not it could just be faulty wiring to the gauge behind the instrument cluster..
