Shakes or Wobbles problem
2003 Chevy Cavalier Two Wheel Drive Automatic 95000 miles

Ok my girlfriend just got her first car 2 weeks. It came with roughly 95000 miles on it. Well yesterday it started doing something weird. When idle the car shakes and the rpms go really low and sometimes when she puts in in drive or reverse it will die on her. I am not sure what the problem is. Someone please help I don't like to see her upset.

Does it have a check engine light and when was the last tune-up? You might wanna check the idle air control valve/throttle position/ MAP/MAF sensors. also check the PCV and EGR valves.

Hi there, Do this re set procedure. if it doesn't work you may have a faulty idle control motor or a vacuum leak in the induction system.
