Hi,
I have a noise that is only on the rear passenger side when I put on the breaks. It is loud eough that you can hear it out side. It sounds like something is rubbing really loud inside. But it is only there when it is hot outside, over 15 degrees C. I have had a tech. look at it and he noticed that the breaks were off alignment, so they re-adjusted these. The breaks are brand new (9 months old). They ended up changing the break line for the rear breaks and the one for the e-brake. But the noise still presists. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As the tech. has no idea what it is, and I don't have that much money to spend on it.

The rears and fronts were both done 9 months ago? It's a possibility that the secondary and primary shoes were reversed , this will cause sounds and possibly skiddish rear braking...and if they were installed correctly, they should have machined or replaced the drums too...with 100,000 miles on this type of brake system, wheels cylinders should be changed as well and new hardware kit installed.
