My daughter has a 2003 chevy cavlier and the passenger side headlight comes on but is very dim. I have replaced the bulb but this does not correct the problem. Their is current to the bulb because it lights but is so dim that it does not project a beam. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Your headlights are controlled on the ground circuit. The voltage to the lamp is hot all the time. I'd check the actual voltage reading at the lamp. If the connector is labeled ABC, B is voltage to the lamp. A & C should be grounds for bright or dim. if the problem is on the ground circuit, can't tell if it is the multifunction switch or wiring circuit, somewhere.
