The last few times that I have filled up my car with gas the nozzle doesn't click off when the tank becomes full spilling gas on the ground. At first I thought it was the gas nozzle not working properly but this has happened at multiple gas stations. Any thoughts....

Hi:
The nozzle is to shut the pump down when there is fuel splash back. You car has nothing to do with that.
