2003 Chevy Cavalier Car trouble starting sometimes

Sometimes I have trouble starting my car, a couple of minutes and starts, sometimes 15 minutes then starts.
Fuel Pump 2 years old, put in
Fuel Filter, 2 months or less old, put in.

My ideas- need a better fuel cap (factory instead of buying at Canadian Tire)?
-Fuel pump going?

Any help would be helpful.
Areas to start to look at, 1st. , 2nd. 3rd etc.

I would check fuel pump pressure and pressure drop off.
