Both back doors on each side will not latch closed, i have them taped up to prevent them from opening. I believe the passenger side latch has either rusted to the point that it has broken or was broken in attempts to close the door. The drivers side just wont close shut. Is there something I can do about this without shelling out hundreds of dollars??

while having a helper hold the outside door handle open, use a flat blade tool (screwdriver, etc..) to open the latch open on the side of the door. latch was probably kicked closed by accident while door was open, this will prevent door from shutting and latching until latch is opened back
