2002 Chevy Cavalier Front Wheel Drive Automatic 93,000 miles

I have a 4-door Cavalier, my back passanger side window stopped working, it started out going down just fine, but we had to help it back up and then it stopped working completely, now the front passanger side is doing the same thing! How can we go about finding out exactly what is wrong with it, and if it is the window motor is it possible to take the back driver side window motor out and switch it with the front passanger side window motor. I'm not worried about the back windows working I just need the front ones to work. So if this is possible it is much more cost efficent to do that! I look forward to your advice, thank you!

Check for 12V at the switch, then at the motor (you will have to remove the interior door panel).

It could also be the window regulator is binding, or the limit switch is bad.

Ask a parts store for the part numbers on the motors, if they are the same, then you can use them on any window, but generally they are orientated left and right and sometimes front and rear.
