My power windows on driver side sometimes work and sometimes don't. Sometimes only part way

You would have to test voltage and ground circuits to the motor when the problem occurs. If that checks ok, suspect the window motor. I've seen faulty window motors cause the power window circuit breaker to get hot to the touch. The breaker may trip if it gets hot?
