I hit a curb which in turn pressed the fan completely against the radiator. I drove the car home hot approx. 13 miles. I believe i may have to replace the head gasket but i need to know the possibilities of damage I may be facing. I am female so please explain where I may understand. Thanks

Did the temp. gauge show engine overheating for the entire 13 miles? If so then you will probably need the entire cylinder head (top part of engine assembly) replaced. Overheating a cylinder head will cause it to crack which in turn loses engine compression which is needed for an engine to run. If it wasn't overheating then the head will be OK and most likely so will the head gasket.
