2002 Chevy Cavalier Brakes & Turn Signal

My bottom brake light and turn signals have stopped working. Could this be an electrical problem or could it be something easier like the bulbs or the fuse? How do I know?

If the top center mount brake light works-the problem is coming from the turn signal/multifunction switch
