2002 Cavalier Banging RF

I have a 2002 Cavalier. The right front has a metallic banging noise coming from it while driving over bumps. It can only be heard if the passenger window is down. Is the strut bad or is it bad mounts?

This is a common issue with cavaliers, It the strut mount bushing, Possibly has torn or failed, Its just a rubber mount located inside on top of the strut unit, Usually avg do it selfer can handle the task, Also need the correct tools as well.

1. Good socket set.
2. Coil spring compressor.
3. WD40 lube.
4. Ref manual.
