2001 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

IS THE 4 CYL AND THE 6 CYL ENGINES ON THESE CARS TIMING CHAIN OR BELT AND WILL BOTH MOTORS BEND THE VALVES IF THE BELT OR CHAIN BREAK?

Both the 2.2 and 2.4 in the Cavalier have timing chains and are non-interference designs.
