HOW CAN I CLEAN OUT MY CLOGGED UP RADIATOR AT HOME WITH LITTLE OR NO MONEY?

Hi there,

This must be done by a radiator shop as the tanks must be removed to physically clean inside the cores, if it is at all blocked, using a chemical cleaner will only make it worse.

If not chemicals then what do they use and what do you mean by tanks also thankyou for the help. I would donate but im tapped due to this ongoing car troubles.

Hi there,

Radiators have top & bottom tanks, this is where the hoses go, these are crimped or soldered to the core, the core is made up of many tubes or core tubes, these tubes need to be cleaned and often a probe is need to be passed through each tube first to break up the sludge and scale causing the blockage.
