Lately my Cavalier tries to die on me occasionally and today after driving home from work it was idling a little rougher than usual. I opened up the hood and started it again and the cooling fan started but was making a clicking noise and it died down to a stop. The temperature guage does show a rise in heat. Could it be a relay sensor or is it the fan motor?

Could be a temperature switch/fan relay or the computer's fan relay control circuit
