It started off with my car overheating, and I was loosing coolant fast. I looked into it, and my water pump gasket was leaking. I've since replaced it, and in doing so noticed my fan wasn't kicking on. Now when I am driving my car is fine, it's when I idle that it starts getting hot fairly quickly. I tried connecting the fan directly to the battery and it works fine. So I figured I'd look into the fuses. I did some switching and the fan kicked on, then I switched it back and the fan continued to work. Well now it's out again, and fuse switching isn't working. My car is heating while idleing.

Any idea whats up or how I can go about fixing this? Is it just a sensor or what?
