My car idles really rough and stalls wjhen I am at a red light or stopped in traffic. I just had a timing chain, fuel pump, o2 sensor, and a fuel regulator installed. And the car still runs rough at idle. Also when I am driving on the highway, it feels like its losing power when I try to accelerate. Can you tell me what the problem could be? Thank you.

Sincerely,

Yes, the check engine comes on and the code reads P0171. "SYSTEM TOO LEAN"

I have no wires. The spark plugs are new and I had my coil pack installed at the beginning of 2008.

Check EGR pull clean pential and passage ways. Also clean MAF in air intake. Then engine ideling spray some carb cleaner around intake, throtle body. If vacuum leak when spray hits area it will idle up smooth out.
