2000 Chevy Cavalier check engine light

my check engine light came on and we went and got it tested the code that came up was p 1441. The cause was either a failed canister purge solenoid which we fixed, or a failed fuel tank pressure sensor. We can not get the check engine light to turn off. Is there any ways we can get that light off?

When you fix the problem, if you can't reset the MIL, it will eventually go out just by driving it.
