My 2000 Chevy Cavalier is leaking engine coolant. I fill it up on Monday, and come Tuesday afternoon/evening, the overflow tank was completely drained. I noticed a particularly large amount of antifreeze lying on the concrete and discovered that the car was leaking coolant. I checked under the hood of the vehicle as I was refilling it, and noticed that on the underside of the hood itself, there was water sprayed all over it above where the overflow tank it. I am believing that this is either an issue with the water pump or the actual cap on the overflow tank. Could you provide me with a second opinion on this? Thank you very much.
