Interior problem
1999 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My battery died a while back. When I put a new one in the radio didn't work. It just says LOC on the screen. I looked in the manual on how to fix it and it said you need a code for it. I bought the car at an auction so I didn't talk to the owner. Is ther any way to fix this? If not, would a different radio work?

that is a anti theft program for the radio, the code is not readily available on the internet. you need to remove the radio and note the radio's serial number. contact local chevy dealer and give them the serial number , they can then look up the unlock code for you.
