1999 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Automatic

Whenever my car is in park or neutral it makes a noise as if i was pressing the gas pedal, i went to pass the emmission and the told me that it was that i needed to replace the IACV can you give me a hint on were is it located? and if you think thats the problem.

We can only go by the info we get! If testing center says that's what you need, so be it! It's located on the throttlebdy. It will look like one of these two...

more than likely that is the problem, but theres like a five percent chance that it could be your throttle position sensor. but go with the iac.
