Driver door latch

Interior problem 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi. I opened my door this morning and started the car. i went to close the door but it would not latch. It was -10 degrees celcius. i tried to close the door while i held the handle in the upper position then let go when i closed the door, but nothing happened.

Hello,

It sounds like the door latch itself is broken and needs replacement. You will need to take the door panel off before you can replace the latch.
