1999 Chevy Cavalier Dash Panel Light

1999 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

The Track Off light keeps turning on and off. Transmission seems to shift hard while light is on.....what is this, a sesor or is it the transmission????

Possibly a loose or disconnected wheel sensor, check them, make sure they are on tight and secondary locking tangs are intact.

If no problem is found, have car scanned for ("C") chassis codes. Hopefully it is something simple, but could be traction control module.
