When you are stopped in traffic for maybe 5 minutes or a little longer. The temp gage starts rising to hot. Once you start moving along at good speed temp comes down to mid way. I have replaced, radiator, water pump, thermostat, temp sending unit, sensor on fan fan is working. Flushed system several times. At a loss can't figure it out. Please Help

It may be the gauge, considering you have replaced the cooling system and the fan is working.

There are generally two coolant senders, one for PCM and one for gauge.

If it is one of the sensors would that make the car over heat? If I sit still very long the temp gage goes up and the car is getting hot it would over heat if I do not move to get air flow.

If it overheats it would start spewing coolant out hoses, I am suggesting the gauge is reading wrong.

Could also be waterpump, thermostat, cooling fans, but you say they have been replaced.
