1998 Chevy Cavalier po341 trouble code

1998 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1998 chevy cavalier and the check engine light came on so i plugged it in. The code is cmp sensor circuit out of range. Can anybody help me out so i can get the check engine light off. I dont know what it could be. the code is a po341.

cam shaft position sensor out of range, needs to be replaced
