1998 Chevy Cavalier labor rate

Hello,

I was wondering what a decent labor rate would be to have the valve cover gasket changed on a 98 cavalier. and how much more should i expect to change the plugs and wires?

Depends on where you go, some shops charge $60-75, while others charge $100+.

Look for specials on tune-ups, some dealers have specials, $50 sometimes.

The valve cover gasket should run around $200, depending on who does it.
